Not only mental diet is important. Feeding yourself with positive ideas and all sources of information – books, webinars, training courses is vital for your personal and business development, but you also have to love and feed your body with healthy ingredients – the mighty combo of proper diet plus physical activity.
I think by now, you know how important it is to identify your strengths, develop your talents and potential, gain access to know-how, improve your skills and build or renew self-esteem. Those things are all essential for your career, but what many people forget about, is the importance of what you eat and how often you exercise.
Does that make sense to you? You need energy and passion to overcome obstacles. You need to keep your wits about you, you need your “A” game, your focus, determination and creativity to grow. The quality of your life and how you feel is extremely important and I’m not talking here about expensive cars, home or money in general. Even smart people without the fuel in the form of diet and physical activity, will fail to a degree at some point – mind is simply not enough in the long run.
Coaching gurus and business experts know their game inside out. When I recently attended a seminar in the Blair Singer Training Academy, I met the legendary Mack Newton – The Super Star Coach for Professional Athletes. Yes, the knowledge is one thing but he also showed many people how they can feel and live, in a very painful but necessary way (fortunately I’m a very active person with passion for tennis and skiing, so I didn’t blackout during his training 😉 ).
